Step 1. Go to the Start Screen

Windows 8 – Move your mouse to the bottom left hand corner and click

Windows 8.1 – Click on the Windows Icon at the bottom left hand corner

Step 2. Open Power Options

Start typing Power Options and select it under search in the right hand pane

Step 3. Choose when to turn off the display

1. Look on the left hand side of the window that pops up and click on “Choose when to turn off the display”
2. Change the “Turn off display” to a diferent value
3. Click on Ok
