Teamviewer works slowly showing updates even though you are using Teamviewer Business or Higher and the is bandwidth is good.  This may also affect other remote control tools such as Screenconnect.  Using RDP however, the screen refresh rate is good.

Solution: Disable Hardware Acceleration for the Graphics Card

Instructions for Server 2008R2

1. Right click on the desktop
2. Choose Screen Resolution
3. Click on Advanced Settings
   
4. On the window that pops up click on the Troubleshoot tab
5. Click on the Change settings button
6. Drag the Hardware acceleration slider to None
7. Click on Ok
