Getting to know your Windows 8 Hot Corners
One of the new features in Windows 8 are the hot corners. If you’re not familiar with the new Windows 8 Hot Corners we’re going to show you a little more about how they work.
Bottom Left Windows Hot Corner
The bottom left hot corner of your Windows 8 screen will give you access to the Start Screen. If you’ve already got the desktop open and you’re on the start screen this will work vice versa to allow you quick access to the desktop.
Top Left Corner of the Windows 8 Screen
If you move the mouse to the top left hand corner of the screen you will be shown al the applications which are currently running on the computer. If you click and drag any of these applications to the left or right hand side of the screen it will snap that application to the appropriate side. Each of the open apps can be also right clicked to close it.
Right Hand Side of the Windows 8 Screen
Moving your mouse to the right hand side of the screen will give you access to the Windows charms. The windows charms is a new feature that gives you access to Search, Start, Devices and Settings.
