Issue

You find that after enabling Unity Mode in VmWare Fusion the size of the Windows programs icons and text is extremely small and hard to read.

Resolution

This can be caused due to Retina Mode being enabled in VMWare Fusion for Mac.  To resolve this issue follow these steps:

1. Shut down the virtual machine.
2. In VMware Fusion menu, go to Settings > Display.
3. Uncheck the box which says Select Use full resolution for Retina Display.
