To set up your Windows 10 Computer as a Wifi hotspot:<\/p>\n

  1. Ensure your Windows 10 PC is 100% updated. \u00a0You will need to be running Version 1607 or higher. \u00a0To check the version you are on hold down\u00a0Win + R<\/strong> , type in winver and press enter. \u00a0You will be presented with the following screen:

  2. Once you’ve checked that you’ve got version 1607 or higher we can close this screen.<\/li>\n
  3. Click on\u00a0Start<\/strong> and then the\u00a0Settings<\/strong> icon
    \n    \"windows-10-settings\"<\/a><\/li>\n
  4. Click on\u00a0Network\u00a0<\/strong>and Internet<\/strong><\/li>\n
  5. Click on\u00a0Mobile Hotspot<\/strong> in the left hand sidebar (you won’t see this if you don’t have Wifi on your computer)<\/li>\n
  6. Turn On\u00a0Share my internet connection with other devices<\/strong><\/li>\n
  7. Further down the page it will show you the Network Name and Network Password:

    \nIf you want to change the name or password you can click on the\u00a0Edit<\/strong> button directly below<\/li>\n
  8. Close the settings screen and you should be able to see your new Wifi Hotspot from other devices.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
