Quite often to diagnose problems on your computer you need to restart your computer in safe mode. \u00a0The traditional way of restarting windows in safe mode involves hitting the F8 key or similar combination as soon as you turn on your computer. \u00a0If you’re having problems getting the key combination at the right time when the computer boots up here is how to restart your computer in safe mode whilst Windows is running.<\/p>\n

  1. Click on Start<\/li>\n
  2. Click on the Power Icon<\/li>\n
  3. Hold down the\u00a0SHIFT<\/strong> key and then click on\u00a0RESTART

  4. When your computer restarts you will see the screen which says\u00a0Choose an option<\/strong>
