{"id":86,"date":"2015-03-15T04:45:12","date_gmt":"2015-03-14T17:45:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/4it.com.au\/kb\/?post_type=article&#038;p=86"},"modified":"2022-11-25T23:11:16","modified_gmt":"2022-11-25T12:11:16","slug":"how-to-change-outlook-2013-temperature-to-celsius","status":"publish","type":"article","link":"https:\/\/4it.com.au\/kb\/article\/how-to-change-outlook-2013-temperature-to-celsius\/","title":{"rendered":"How to Change Outlook 2013 Temperature to Celsius From Farenheit"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>As more and more people start upgrading their Microsoft Office to 2013, one of the handy little features I have noticed in the Outlook calendar is the ability to show the weather forecast and temperature up the top. \u00a0It comes as welcome surprise as I spend a great deal of my time in Outlook and my wife is always asking me first thing in the morning what the weather today is going to be like. \u00a0Normally it&#8217;s off to the <a href=\"http:\/\/bom.gov.au\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Bureau of Meteorology<\/a> website with a slight groan internally as I check the weather and report back.<\/p>\n<p>One thing I did notice however was that the default display for the temperature is in Fahrenheit even though I&#8217;m in Australia. \u00a0Initially I fumbled around in the regional settings in the control panel thinking that something had gone awry. \u00a0Nope, everything was correct there. \u00a0It turns out I should have looked a bit closer to home.<\/p>\n<h3>So for all of those who have been fumbling around trying to work out how to change the temperature from Fahrenheit to Celsius in Outlook 2013, here&#8217;s how to do it.<\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Whilst in Outlook 2013<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Click File<\/li>\n<li>Click Options<\/li>\n<li>On the screen that pops up Click Calendar<\/li>\n<li>Scroll all the way down until you get the section titled &#8220;Weather&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>Click the &#8220;Celsius&#8221; radio box and then OK.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Voila! \u00a0You&#8217;ve now got your temperature in Celsius.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/4it.com.au\/kb\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/change-outlook-2013-temperature-to-celsius-1.png\"><img class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-87\" data-original=\"https:\/\/4it.com.au\/kb\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/change-outlook-2013-temperature-to-celsius-1.png\" alt=\"change-outlook-2013-temperature-to-celsius\" width=\"879\" height=\"794\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I hope this saves someone today from pulling their hair out. \u00a0By the way, It&#8217;s a beautiful day in Sydney here today.
