Before copying Firefox Profile Data please ensure that firefox is closed<\/strong><\/p>\n

To copy all Firefox profile information across from one User in Windows to another user:<\/p>\n

Step 1<\/h3>\n

Reveal Hidden Files and Folders<\/a> (opens in new tab)<\/p>\n

Step 2<\/h3>\n

Open Windows Explorer<\/p>\n

Step 3<\/h3>\n

Browse to the Firefox Profile Folder of the old<\/strong> user. \u00a0The path\u00a0is:<\/p>\n

C:\\Users\\<Windows login\/user name><\/i>\\AppData\\Roaming\\Mozilla\\Firefox\\Profiles\\<profile folder><\/p>\n

Where\u00a0<Windows login\/user name><\/strong><\/i> is the old username<\/p>\n

Step 4 – Copy all the files in the profile folder<\/h3>\n

Press CTRL + A<\/strong> and then CTRL + C<\/strong><\/p>\n

Step 5<\/h3>\n

Browse to the Firefox Profile Folder of the new<\/strong>\u00a0user. \u00a0The path\u00a0is:<\/p>\n

C:\\Users\\<Windows login\/user name><\/i>\\AppData\\Roaming\\Mozilla\\Firefox\\Profiles\\<profile folder><\/p>\n

Where\u00a0<Windows login\/user name><\/strong><\/i> is the new\u00a0username<\/p>\n

Step 6<\/h3>\n

Press CTRL + V<\/strong> and accept any messages asking to override \/ merge<\/p>\n

NOTE: If you can’t find any reference to Mozilla, Firefox or profiles in the AppData\\Roaming folder of the new user this will be most likely because firefox hasn’t been opened up yet under the new user’s account. \u00a0Once you open up Firefox completely once this folder will be created.<\/em><\/p>\n
