Connect to Office 365 via Powershell<\/h2>\n<h3>Open Windows Powershell and\u00a0run the following command:<\/h3>\n<p><code>$UserCredential = Get-Credential<\/code><br \/>\nEnter your Office 365 Admin Username and Password when prompted<\/p>\n<h3>Run the following command:<\/h3>\n<p>$Session = New-PSSession -ConfigurationName Microsoft.Exchange -ConnectionUri https:\/\/outlook.office365.com\/powershell-liveid\/ -Credential $UserCredential -Authentication Basic -AllowRedirection<\/p>\n<h3>Run the following command:<\/h3>\n<p>Import-PSSession $Session<\/p>\n<h2>Step 2. Block or Quarantine Outlook Web App Access for iPhone and Android<\/h2>\n<h3>Run the following command to Quarantine:<\/h3>\n<p>New-ActiveSyncDeviceAccessRule \u2013QueryString &#8216;Outlook for iOS and Android&#8217; \u2013Characteristic DeviceModel \u2013AccessLevel Quarantine<\/p>\n<h3>OR<\/h3>\n<h3>Run the following command to Block:<\/h3>\n<p>New-ActiveSyncDeviceAccessRule \u2013QueryString &#8216;Outlook for iOS and Android&#8217; \u2013Characteristic DeviceModel \u2013AccessLevel Block<\/p>\n<p>Wait for 15 minutes. Any account that has connected to Office 365 using the Outlook Web App will receive the following email message:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/4it.com.au\/kb\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/Block-Outlook-Web-App-iPhone.png\"><img class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-554\" data-original=\"https:\/\/4it.com.au\/kb\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/Block-Outlook-Web-App-iPhone.png\" alt=\"Block-Outlook-Web-App-iPhone\" width=\"628\" height=\"426\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Your mobile device is temporarily blocked from accessing content via Exchange ActiveSync because the mobile device has been quarantined. You don&#8217;t need to take any action.
