{"id":474,"date":"2015-11-12T05:25:43","date_gmt":"2015-11-12T05:25:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/4it.com.au\/kb\/?post_type=article&#038;p=474"},"modified":"2015-12-08T10:48:33","modified_gmt":"2015-12-07T23:48:33","slug":"error-0x800ccc13-in-outlook-2013-or-outlook-2016","status":"publish","type":"article","link":"https:\/\/4it.com.au\/kb\/article\/error-0x800ccc13-in-outlook-2013-or-outlook-2016\/","title":{"rendered":"Error 0x800CCC13 in Outlook 2013 or Outlook 2016"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>You may find that you are receiving the following error in Outlook 2013 or Outlook 2016 using your POP or IMAP account. \u00a0Testing the account settings in the account set up tests successfully but you are still unable to receive mail. \u00a0You are more than likely using Windows 10. \u00a0The exact message you are receiving is:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sending Reported Error (0x800CCC13) Cannot connect to the network. \u00a0Verify your network connection or modem<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/4it.com.au\/kb\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/0x800ccc13.png\"><img class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-476\" data-original=\"https:\/\/4it.com.au\/kb\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/0x800ccc13.png\" alt=\"0x800ccc13\" width=\"349\" height=\"226\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>This error could be caused by a number of reasons but the most likely reason is due to some system corrupted files. \u00a0To resolve error please follow these steps.<\/p>\n<h2>Step 1. Open a Command Prompt as an Administrator<\/h2>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/4it.com.au\/kb\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/SFC-SCANNOW.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-475\" src=\"https:\/\/4it.com.au\/kb\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/SFC-SCANNOW.png\" alt=\"SFC SCANNOW\" width=\"501\" height=\"338\" srcset=\"https:\/\/4it.com.au\/kb\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/SFC-SCANNOW.png 501w, https:\/\/4it.com.au\/kb\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/SFC-SCANNOW-300x202.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 501px) 100vw, 501px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>To do this click on start and search for <strong>Command.\u00a0<\/strong>Right click on <strong>Command Prompt<\/strong> and choose <strong>Run as Administrator<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2>Step 2. Run System File Checker<\/h2>\n<p>Type in the following in to the command prompt:<\/p>\n<p><code>SFC \/SCANNOW<\/code><\/p>\n<h2>Step 3.
