Open the Snipping Tool<\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Windows 7<\/strong> <\/span>&#8211; Click on <strong>Start<\/strong>, Select <strong>All Programs<\/strong>, Select <strong>Accessories<\/strong> and then Select <strong>Snipping Tool<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Windows 8<\/strong><\/span> &#8211; Press the <strong>Windows Key<\/strong>, start typing <strong>Snipping Tool<\/strong> and select it on the right hand side from the search results.<\/p>\n<h2>Step 2. Choose the Type of Snip<\/h2>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/4it.com.au\/kb\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/How-To-Screenshot-On-Windows-Snipping-Tool.png\"><img class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-397\" data-original=\"https:\/\/4it.com.au\/kb\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/How-To-Screenshot-On-Windows-Snipping-Tool.png\" alt=\"How-To-Screenshot-On-Windows-Snipping-Tool\" width=\"344\" height=\"191\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Clicking on the <strong>drop down arrow<\/strong> next to <strong>New<\/strong> you can choose the type of Screenshot you wish to make.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Free-Form Snip<\/strong> &#8211; Once you have selected this simply hold down your mouse and draw a line around what you want to take a screenshot of.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Rectangular Snip<\/strong> &#8211; Click in the top left hand corner of what you want to take a screenshot of and drag right and down. \u00a0Release.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Windows Snip<\/strong> &#8211; Click inside the window or program you wish to take a screenshot of.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Full-Screen Snip<\/strong> &#8211; As soon as you select this it will take a screenshot of your whole screen<\/p>\n<h2>Step 3.
