Open Registry Editor<\/p>\n

Go to the following\u00a0registry subkey:<\/p>\n

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\\SOFTWARE\\Microsoft\\Windows NT\\CurrentVersion\\Winlogon<\/p>\n

Step 3<\/h5>\n

Using your account name and password, double-click the DefaultUserName entry, type your user name, and then click OK.<\/p>\n

Step 4<\/h5>\n

Double-click the DefaultDomainName entry, type the domain name, and then click OK.<\/p>\n

Step 5<\/h5>\n

Double-click the DefaultPassword entry, type your password, and then click OK.<\/p>\n

Step 6<\/h5>\n

Restart the Server<\/p>\n

DefaultPassword doesn’t exist<\/h4>\n

Step 1<\/h5>\n

Click Add Value on the Edit menu.<\/p>\n

Step 2<\/h5>\n

In the Value Name box, type DefaultPassword, and then click REG_SZ for the Data Type<\/p>\n

Step 3<\/h5>\n

Type your password in the String box, and then save your changes.<\/p>\n

Please also note that if no DefaultPassword string is specified, Windows will automatically change the value of the AutoAdminLogon key from 1 (true) to 0 (false), which will disable the AutoAdminLogon feature.<\/p>\n

What you need to do is click Add Value on the Edit menu, enter AutoAdminLogon in the Value Name box, and then click REG_SZ for the Data Type,\u00a0Type 1 in the String box, and then save your changes.<\/p>\n

Bypassing the AutoAdminLogon process<\/h4>\n

If you need to\u00a0bypass the AutoAdminLogon process, and to log on as a different user, hold down the SHIFT key\u00a0as you are logging off.<\/p>\n
